About the workshop: On the workshop we’ll produced interactive robotic insects from a variety of materials. Participants will have the opportunity to create their own toy or fashion accessory in their own way. The basic idea is to build a simple bionic toy from little material but for a lot of joy. The workshop is more than appropriate for kids, fashion enthusiasts, biologs and other mechanical insect lowers.

About menthor: Monika Pocrnjić (SI) is a student of art pedagogy at the University of Maribor. She works as an assistant and organizer of art workshops for young people with special needs (cerebral palsy). Lately, she is active member of the team Biomodd, which combines live biology and computer waste. Occasionally she works with multimedia center Kibla in Maribor, Biomodd team and SGMK (Schweizerische Gesellschaft für Mechatronische Kunst) from Switzerland. She was presented on the group exhibition of art pedagogy students with interactive project I LOVE Plants (Part of series of exhibitions of young artists ARTNOX) and on the exhibition of the Department of Fine Arts Faculty of the University of Maribor "OPEN". In her artistic research she explores interaction and mutual influence of organic and inorganic substances.
