The konS – Platform for Contemporary Investigative Art project aims to establish better conditions for maintenance and development of contemporary investigative art in Slovenia. Activities in konS Project are in content and in structure aligned with the establishment of the latest investigative, research, design and eingeneer institutions (future/solution labs) that will enable the production of high-end contemporary investigative art and the translation of visionary art ideas and inventions into economy and forward-thinking society. The goal of the project is to establish systemic connections between idea creators, inventors and engineers in order to create solutions for a more inclusive society while building information and education systems aimed for different social groups that will be empowered for critical use of new technologies.
The following partners from the field of contemporary investigative art – Kersnikova Institute, Projekt Atol Institute, Aksioma Institute, Ljudmila Art and Science Laboratory, CONA Institute (all Ljubljana), University of Nova Gorica – School of Arts, Velenje Youth Center, LokalPatriot (Novo mesto), Maribor Youth Culture Centre – have formed a consortium, devoted to house a cooperation platform on the axis of Slovenia's Western and Eastern cohesiion region. konS is designed in a way that organisations with proven interest can also join the platform.

Consortium osmo/za
In the framework of Project konS consortium osmo/za represents one of the hubs aimed for establishing information and education system for different social groups that will be empowered for critical uses of new technologies.
Osmo/za is a consortium that since it's inception in 2017 comprises of three organisations: Ljudmila Art and Science Laboratory, Zavod Projekt Atol, Delak Institute. We share the space on the 8th floor of the former Avtotehna(on Slovenska street 54) in Ljubljana. Osmo/za functions as a progressive production centre, art venue, art residency for international artists, laboratory with a well-equipped workshop and work stations designed for education, prototyping and hacking.
It is of vital importance that creative activities and engagement of various individuals - artists, researchers, programmers, theatre artists, designers, technologists (and more), together with Ljudmila form a platform for art development that result in inclusive, critical and tehnoliterate society for the 22nd Century. Contents of consortium osmo/za within the konS project are run and coordinated by Ljudmila Art and Science Laboratory and Projekt Atol Institute.
Laboratory Ljudmila
Project's aim is to establish a network of hubs and laboratories all over Slovenia, that are based on partner network that result in an ecosystem of activities that raise awareness on the future development.
Ljudmila Art and Science Laboratory, as part of the konS project, contributes different content within the Laboratory for innovations, where it by following konS' aims - along with artists, scientists and engineers - produces conceptually and technologically advanced art endeavors. In the three konS laboratories for innovations: Artificial life, Robotics laboratory, and Laboratory for distance perceptions, sensor networks and signal processing. In the framework of the latter, Ljudmila contributes with projects that are developed with external collaborators, be it from science, business and art field. It primarily focuses on the developmental activities that are based (in different ways) on open-source solutions and DIY technosphere.
In 2020, in the framework of Laboratory, Ljudmila plans to produce an art piece Cosmic Rays, an original project by the internationally acknowledged artist Tilen Sepič from Slovenia. For this project Ljudmila collaborate with scientists of the Jožef Stefan Institute.
