Parameter is an art fair dedicated to presenting and selling works that creatively use generative and algorithmic tools, methods or ideations. This year, it focuses on practices that interlace machine and manual techniques, experimentally bridge the digital and the analogue, and build upon the principles of open source, creative coding and permacomputing.

The fair will feature prints, objects, robots, zines, installations, interactive works and experiments that, in a play between contingency and computability, blur the boundaries between the organic and the synthetic, bend the physics of materials, uncover the fragility and ideological malleability of media, engage machines as creative partners in their process, explore the generativity of optical phenomena or are constantly evolving further ...

We invite you to connect with an international community of artists pursuing alternative paths in the exploration of generativity and, by purchasing their artworks, support transformative practices and aesthetics that challenge recommender systems as well as project-oriented flows of production.

Parameter is part of the International Festival of Generative Arts Adela.
