In 2009 the Ministry of Culture initiated its own cultural portal for international cooperation, Culture.si. Based on the Ministry's open call the project has been operated (edited and developed) by the Ljudmila Art and Science Laboratory team.
- The portal offers five major services in English language:
- articles on Slovene cultural institutions, producers, festivals, venues, art groups, education and support activities in the field of arts and culture
- an up to date address book (available also as a gratis application for i-pad or i-phone here)
- images, logo and logo banks for download and use according to their specific licences
- calendar of international events
- social network channels Culture.si Blog, Culture.si Facebook and Culture.si Twitter
Culture.si strives to broaden and promote international cultural cooperation, as well as knowledge and recognition of Slovene culture. The portal is funded by the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Slovenia.
