The interdisciplinary project combines a mural made by Marko K. Gavez and an AR visualisation prepared by knnz (Neža Knez). The artists are the most prominent representatives of the younger generation of Slovenian artists in the fields of graffiti and visualisations. The project was created as part of the Ljubljana Street Art Festival 2022.

It will be refreshed by artists Marko K. Gavez and knnz (Neža Knez) (both SI), the most prominent representatives of the younger generation of artists in the fields of graffiti and visualisations. Gavez works primarily in the fields of illustration and graphics. His main formal starting point is a detailed drawing, and in his work he mostly combines motifs from the urban environment, industrial spaces and fantasy worlds. In her work, knnz explores nature, technology and the individual and their intertwining. She mostly presents her works in the form of video installations and VJ performances. The interdisciplinary project combines the production of a larger mural (Gavez) with an AR visualisation (knnz). Viewers at the site will be able to interact with the graffiti using a digital interface.
About the authors
knnz (Neža Knez) is currently finishing her studies of video and new media art at the Academy of Fine Arts and Design, University of Ljubljana. Her work is focused on multidisciplinary art and connects photography, CGI, animation and music, which she then presents in the form of video installations or VJ performances. These activities enable her to present otherwise two-dimensional works in new spatial dimensions. She is an active member of the V2V community.
Marko K. Gavez creates in various media, but the starting point is always illustration. Over the past few years, his work has been displayed at several solo and group exhibitions, such as Independent Illustration Biennale, Dobra vaga Gallery, Zines! at the International Centre for Graphic Arts, and Neurotitan Gallery.
